Certification Prerequisites
- Review the SUSE One Partner Program requirements and sign up for the SUSE One Partner Program if you are not a SUSE One Partner yet.
- An RKE2 cluster running Rancher
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Rancher, and AI concepts
- Install SUSE AI on top of RKE2 cluster.
- Application is certified as SUSE Ready for AI

Certification Workflow
- Prepare your solution for certification
1.1. Ensure that your solution is compatible with the SUSE AI components.
1. 2. Verify that your solution is compatible with the latest Rancher supported version of RKE2
1.3. Create comprehensive documentation for integrating your solution with the SUSE AI Suite, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting guides
- Test your solution with components of the SUSE AI Suite
2.1. Set up a test environment, including SUSE AI and a Rancher-managed RKE2 cluster (NFR is needed, Under "Special Request" section)
2.2. Install your solution on the test cluster
2.3. Validate your solution is functioning correctly by deploying sample applications and testing functionality between components
2.4. Monitor the performance of your solution using Rancher's built-in monitoring tools, SUSE Observability, and SUSE Security
- Submit your solution for certification
3.1. Submit a demo of your solution for certification and provide the necessary documentation to the SUSE INNOVATE team
3.2. Schedule a 30-min time slot to review the testing, documentation, and attestation that proves your solution is compatible with SUSE AI.
- Complete the certification process
4.1. Receive confirmation from the SUSE INNOVATE team that your solution is certified. Once approved, your SUSE Certified for SUSE AI certification will be listed in the SUSE Partner Certification and Solutions Catalog (PCSC)
4.2. Document your successful testing and your support by adding the appropriate SUSE product and version to the list of supported platforms in your documentation and web site.
- Maintain and recertify your certified solution
5.1. Keep your solution up-to-date with the latest Rancher, SUSE AI, and RKE2 releases
5.2. Address any reported issues or bugs in a timely manner
5.3. You need to recertify your solution with each new Rancher and RKE2 release
5.4. Update your solution’s certification status with SUSE as needed, following any updates or changes to your product.
